Sarsala Hamam Bay Trail
The trail starts from Sarsala Bay in Dalaman . The entrance to the trail is on the far right side of Sarsala Bay. There is no road for vehicles on the trail; therefore, you must walk there and back. The distance between Sarsala and Hamam Bay is approximately 5.5 km. You must return the same way you came. It's worth noting that it's a very beautiful and enjoyable hiking route.
One of the most important bays in Dalaman is undoubtedly Sarsala Bay . There are municipal facilities within the bay where you can purchase food and drinks.
Sarsala Hamam Bay Trail Statistics
The distance from Sarsala Bay to Hamam Bay is 5.5 km. You will return the same way, completing the trail with a total distance of 11 km. There will be a slight climb at the beginning of the hike, but anyone in good health can easily handle this. After that, you will proceed parallel to the sea. On your left will be the sea, and on your right will be forest, rocks, and hills. Only 1 km of the 11 km trail is an uphill climb. You can consider it an easy-to-moderate difficulty trail. In total, you will gain and lose approximately 170 meters in altitude. Overall, it is rated 5.5 out of 10 in difficulty.

We have some very clear recommendations for you before you embark on this hike. These suggestions are designed to ensure you have a comfortable walk.
- Trekking Pole Usage: Even the easiest routes in nature can present significant risks at certain crossing points. Always carry at least one trekking pole.
- Shoe Selection: The trail can be done in everyday athletic shoes, but be careful. Your shoes can easily be damaged due to the rocky areas. Therefore, choosing trekking boots that support the ankle or trekking shoes with scree bands will increase comfort and safety.
- Spare Clothes: Bring a spare t-shirt and socks. You will sweat during the hike, so we recommend changing clothes at a suitable location.
- Drinks: Before starting your hike, be sure to pack at least 1.5 liters of water in your backpack. There is one water fountain along the trail where you can replenish your water. Also, bring your thermos for tea and coffee if you wish.
- Snacks: You'll be spending a large part of your day here. So, pack lunch snacks in your bag before you set off on your journey to prepare for hunger. Also, bring small pieces of sugary/salty snacks to help prevent drops in blood sugar and blood pressure.
- Swimwear: If you plan to swim, be sure to bring swimwear. Sarsala Bay or Hamam Bay are ideal destinations for swimming.

There are plenty of scenic views along the route. Our first fountain is 3.6km away. There's also a fountain and the Adaia Göcek establishment here. You can have tea, coffee, etc., and use their restrooms.
NOTE: Adaia is located on the Göcek hiking route , and the owners and staff allow the use of restrooms. However, remember that this is a business. The establishment takes great care to maintain cleanliness. Therefore, we recommend leaving the restrooms clean if you find them clean. Otherwise, if you annoy the owners, these services may be closed to hikers!
The trail, which also includes rocky passages, will offer you a wonderful atmosphere. Finally, your destination is Hamam Bay (Cleopatra Bay) . In this destination, known for its famous Cleopatra baths , you can relax, swim in the sea, swim inside the historical structure, or meditate.
