Starting from the Kapukargın neighborhood of Dalaman, this trail is a comfortable route that can be easily completed by all healthy individuals. The first 1 km of the approximately 8 km long trail is a gentle climb on a dirt road. The rest of the trail is generally gentle descents and flat areas. There are no risky crossing points along the trail. Even young children can walk at a light pace. You will pass through a few small coves before reaching Bedri Rahmi Bay .
Bedri Rahmi's Dark Story
The real name of this bay is Taşyaka Bay , and it belongs to Dalaman , not Göcek . The famous painter Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu visited this bay during a blue cruise in 1974 and painted the picture we see today on a flat rock. Bedri Rahmi's painting, "Fish," actually contains figures of fish, snakes, birds, lizards, butterflies, and roosters. He passed away one year after creating this work.

The total length of the trail is approximately 8km. On this simple trail, you will gain about 172 meters in altitude and lose 293 meters. The maximum altitude you will reach is 231 meters. This one-way trail ends in Kille Bay . Here you can continue enjoying the day by watching a beautiful sunset and getting food and drinks at the municipal facilities.

We have some very clear recommendations for you before you embark on this hike. These suggestions are designed to ensure you have a comfortable walk.
- Trekking Pole Usage: Please bring at least one trekking pole for this trail.
- Shoe Selection: The trail is more comfortable with ankle-supporting boots. However, if you don't have ankle-supporting trekking boots, choose hiking shoes with a scree band.
- Spare Clothes: Bring a spare t-shirt and socks. You will sweat during the hike, so we recommend changing clothes at a suitable location.
- Drinks: Be sure to pack enough water in your backpack before you start hiking. There are no water sources, fountains, etc. along the trail, so you should go prepared.
- Snacks: You'll be spending a large part of your day here. So, pack lunch snacks in your bag before you set off on your journey to prepare for hunger. Also, bring small pieces of sugary/salty snacks to help prevent drops in blood sugar and blood pressure.
- Swimwear: If you're going swimming, be sure to bring swimwear. Kille Bay, in particular, is a fantastic spot for swimming!

The trail consists entirely of unspoiled areas. There are no shops, markets, water fountains, or other businesses along the hiking trail . Therefore, you need to be prepared. Along the route, you will see forests, lakes, bays, and views from mountain peaks. Also, before reaching the famous Bedri Rahmi Bay, dozens of historical food storage depots and royal tombs will greet you on the mountain side.
